People of Earth,
I know you have all been wondering what is happening with Bullski this year with it being February already and nothing yet organised. Well put your minds at ease.
Mikeski is happy to propose to you all now a Bullski trip to rate right up there with the best ever.
The Perisher Manor, located at the bottom of front valley right next to the pub. $1363 per person will secure you the following:
- 5 nights accommodation (Sunday to Thursday nights)
- 5 breakfasts
- 5 gourmet dinners
- 5.5 day lift pass
At the moment their availability is good for the weeks starting Sunday 13th August, Sunday 20th August and Sunday 27th August. Cars will be left at Bullock's Flat and then ski tube your gear up the hill. No over snow transport should be required if you can carry your gear from the
tube station to the pub.
I would like to have people beginning to put their deposits down by next week to ensure we all get catered for during the same week.
Please email me back ASAP with your preferred week:
- 13th Aug
- 20th Aug
- 27th Aug
Later nerds,
Mikeski now.
Mikeski now.

Bullski Group,
It's Glennski now,
We have had experience staying at the Manor, having taken 3 Glennski's there in the past.
The best thing about the Manor is by far & away the location. There's nothing like being the final person on the chair lift and the "lifties" turning it off after you disembark, then having the slopes all to yourself for one final ski down to your front door! And of course being the FIRST on the slopes at 8:30am when the lifts fire up is a piece of cake, afterall the dining room looks straight out onto front valley.
The food there is first class, the meals are top notch, the service is beaut and the staff are very friendly & accommodating. The owners often come around for a friendly chat and to see how the meal is progressing too.
The downside however is the complete lack of night life. "The Pub", located next door on front valley, closes at dark. The Manor has a cocktail bar which is quite small and is classy, but it's very quiet.
The Man From Snowy River Hotel, over behind the ski tube terminal, has a decent bar with pool comps and is probably the only place on the snow to out for a big night. This was the venue where the infamous G.Bullock/G.Lyall pool team choked in the semi-final after being on the black with the opposition team having SIX BALLS LEFT ON THE TABLE! Absolutely disgraceful effort, we were deadset morals to win the final and take the $300 first prize but our lack of respect for the other team cost us big time. Still, we should have won from there.......I reckon we each had 3 or 4 goes on the black and still couldn't pot it.
Have you stayed up at the Sundeck before? If the venue is not yet set in concrete check this place out too, similar price & rooms but a much better bar (The Schnapps Bar - 9 million styles of schnapps) with comedians and live music.
Jas; You're right, we've stayed in both the delux and budget at the Manor and the budget rooms are very small. I'd pay the extra and go for the bigger rooms (plus they look out onto front valley - budget look back at the ski tube terminal)
Also, unlike Ski Rider, the Manor has a boot drying room and lockers for your skis so your room doesn't smell like hire boots!
