Festival of Mike - Jindabyne 2006
The Bullski Crew celebrated the festival of Mike at the snow this year. The gala event of the festival was dinner on Saturday night at the Rock 'n Pot Restaurant at the Jindy Inn. Joining Bullski for the first time was Snowboarder and trainier extraordinaire Nigel Surry and his mates Dan, Nikki and Al, all Jindy locals.
To those of you who were not lucky enough to attend the Festival of Mike, I'd like to draw your attention to the hot rocks in front of everyone on which they cooked their own meals. Awesome!

Pre-Bullski 2006 report by Shredder
Hi Craig
Please accept our humblest apologies. It was hard to get worked up about someone elses weekend away. Particularly when we were just a tiny bit self absorbed with the planning for our own weekend at the snow. I for one can now fully appreciate your enthusiasm and have vowed to spend more time getting fit before the next BULL-SKI 2006. 'Cause we were not prepared & you're right - it does hurt. A lot.
If it was necessary to rank the performances over the weekend:
Award for most number of unforced errors goes to Mike, who stacked it many times for no reason.
Award for most improved goes to Big Dog, that training camp in Austria earlier in the year paid dividends for this athlete.
Award for best looking snowboarder on the slopes goes to Kit Zane, who also gets the award for best demonstration of inappropriate swedish stretching on the ski tube.
The true stand out performance on the slopes undoubtably goes to the fairly inexperienced Bull-Ski participant Romi. Romi deserved the award for carving it up all day, both days. Despite coming home a bit bruised and battered, Romi claims to be ready for more in August.
Keep smiling
R
