Bullski Dubai

In case you thought the presentation looked a little hokey and that maybe the desert ski slop was a hoax: It isn't. Snopes is an internet rumour confirmation site (i.e. did it or didn't it really happen.)

And here is Bullski 08
Claim: Photographs show an indoor skiing facility in the desert city of Dubai.
Status: True.

  • Ski Dubai's website is here.
  • And their snowcams are here.

The future of Bull Ski

Bull-skiers,
Welcome to 2006 from your friendly proctologist in Mexico.  I hope you are all well enough for your exams tomorrow.

1. The Dot Com race for supremacy
You DecideBullski.com or Bullski Blogspot.  Choose between the feature rich Bull-ski website with news feeds, user polls and a fancy message board, and the relatively low tech blogger site with pics and posts.  Which will be the one to go forward as the BullSki website of the future? Voice your opinion on which one moves forward!  And register with your preference (or both) so you can start posting content - especially ideas about where we go in upcoming seasons.  Naturally I prefer content to form (Big Dog!)

[You can post to Bullski Blogspot by either mailing to craigwbrown.serenitynow@blogger.com]

2. Season 2006
Tomorrow is forecast to be 42 degrees here in Mexico city and that makes me realise just how close the snow season is this year.  With planning, feasibility, budget approval, spouse approval, etc accounted for there's only about six hours left to go!

I can tell you this:
  • I am 50% on for Thredbo, Perisher or a Vic peak low-if weekender at the end of May, early June
  • I am 70% on target for revisiting Queenstown (and National Car rentals) in August/Sept with my younger brother
  • I am 30% and increasing probability going to Japan in January either 07 or 08 (the chance doubles each year I don't go to 120% by 2010)
I expect this discussion will be carried forward by the punters at the February Australia day meat roasting ceremony.

Now, while I am here, how many of you want to be on the wrongtown.net mail list?

Cheers bro!
